Was Muhammad Ali cryopreserved (frozen) like Ted Willams? There's enough "chatter from the past" to consider it. [PALM Blog-post about Ali's possible cryonic preservation by Rick][Threaded discussion forum "TW Talk" will pick up where the PALM Blog-page left off]

I pitched Ch. 3 Phoenix on covering the possible Ali-cryonics connection.

I failed to copy and post the pitch to Ch. 3 but basically pitched them on my blog here and how there might be a connection. channel 5 phoenix - Google Search
P.A.L.M. Cryonics

I emailed alcor's general contact form-- with a heads up to this link. The next paragraph shows that Alcor is officially pleading ignorance to any connection between Ali and cryonics by issuing a statement that is incomplete and brief. This is complete absurdity. Obviously TransTime has a currently online findable documented history with Ali as I showed 2 posts ago so this makes Alcor useless as a funnel for cryonics information-- as I found out decades ago anyway. Still-- since Ali is in Phoenix and since the Ali fundraiser this weekend is in PHoenix and since Alcor is in Phoenix-- etc... you'd think that an intellectually honest Alcor (obviously an oxymoron) would at least acknowledge the idea that Ali desired cryonics like Disney decades earlier. This cryonics cover-up is stupid in the age of the internet when everything is now available to anyone with a smartphone. I guess all I'm doing here is documenting intellectual dishonesty. I emailed CPlatt my Ali page and he didn't respond so at least Cremeeens responded. I guess this is the standard M.O. now-- deny, ignore-- walk away, plead ignorance. Fine. Truth always surfaces anyway, one way or another.

Hi Dianne-- Thank you for responding. My intention was simply to give a heads up to the fact that Ali has a cryonics history and that I hooked Channel 3 up with it. My primary post on the topic has had 500 hits since last year. If msm queries alcor/you on this, at least I was able to issue an advance notice. Hopefully you'll read my blog post and at least have Cryonics Magazine writers deal with the Ali/cryonics history as a matter of simple intellectual honesty in my intended context given the online obvious evidence of the connection-- if not for business, at least of intellectual fun. Thanks again.

Rick says ... on March 17 Fri 8 pm -- I just emailed the org that's organizing the fundraiser... as follows...

I've investigated Ali's interest in cryonics and was a cryonics member for years. I'm the person who discovered that Ted Williams was frozen as a head. My blog post about Ali and cryonics has recieved over 400 hits.
http://rickpotvin-cryonet.blogspot.com/2016/06/was-muhammed-ali-frozen-like-ted.html

I'd like to invite you and your organization to "at least" look into my proven connection of cryonics with Ali in the hope that we can mainstream cryonics by virtue of Ali's desire for it via Trans Time in California-- as can be proven with records now showing up on Google in the age of the internet- that I've documented on my blog.

Thanks.

Rick says-- on march 17 Fri 8 pm === between Charles Platt's outreach to me (that he denied-- on Facebook)-- Dianne Cremeens who is public relations at Alcor who said it's news to her that Ali was into cryonics-- and the Ali fundraising org-- and Channel 3 in Phoenix-- I expect a spark to fly somewhere. But since cryonics is so underground for decades... and even more underground today, that spark might not show up. Still, I'll be watching for it. I like the the idea that Ali was into cryonics. I used to watch "wrestling" with my Potvin grandpaw... and developed a taste, as a kid, for one on one guys fighting each other-- for show-- and Ali definitely was a showman. Since I found out that Trans Time showed him around their lab-- like they showed ME around-- back there in the 1980's... and also since Ali has other political and social views that match my own-- I'd like to see him get credit for having taken the LONG SHOT at being preserved for future reanimation like Disney and Ted Williams!

Rick says-- March 17 9:12 Pm MST-- I emailed CPlatt

Charles, tomorrow is the Ali fundraiser for Parkinsons. There is lots of evidence that Ali was into cryonics. Steal my info if you want to and claim it as your own, I don't care. You of all people could make a writier's impact on the cryonics world. After you read my blog post about Ali, you MUST have been impressed. Because I know the silver shirt impressed you too. So let's see an article in Wired about Ali and cryonics by you. Why not?

I'm humble. I'm not trying to grandstand. I'm just a little guy trying to get what I see as "the truth" out. I discovered Ted Willians was a head-only case in 2003. I attended the board meetings of Alcor in Scottsdale. I can tell you the mood of the room in addition to what was said to sidestep the fact that Ted was in a Cryostar container.

NOW.... TOMORROW-- in Phoenix-- we have the Muhammad Ali Celebrity fundraiser. I think ali was frozen secretly. Here's my website. Take  a look. If you think it's malarky, fine. I'm just a salesman and piano teacher who signed up for cryonics years ago in Phoenix-- who is an infomaniac. I noted that SI followed the Ted Williams cryonics story closely--- so how about Ali? Ali has a cryonics history!
